In light of our concert being cancelled in the beautiful town of Bundanoon due to the fires burning through the Southern Highlands, we have decided to put on a house concert in Engadine, in Sydney’s Sutherland Shire this Sunday 12th January. All proceeds with be going towards the local RFS in the Southern Highlands. We will start the music at 4pm. Please aim to arrive from 3.30pm. Suggested donation of $25, cash and card accepted – but please give as much or little as you can spare.
We will also have special musical moments band members other guises ‘Laura & Susie’ and Ren Stone.
Tell your friends far and wide to join us for an afternoon of positive community coming together, enjoying good things in life and helping our wonderful friends in the thick of fire devastation. We can share information and ideas on how we can help the situation as well.
Please BYO food and drinks. There is a pool for those who would like a swim. The house is about 15 min easy walk from Engadine train station. Direct trains from Central Station are easy. If coming by car there is plenty of street parking. The house is at the top of a shared (steep) driveway with 66 and 68.
We know many people fighting for their lives, their properties, our wildlife and bushlands. This is only the beginning and we will continue to do what we can over the coming months to assist in what way we can.
